We all wear masks 🎭

Some to protect ourselves, some to hide, some to play a role, and sometimes just to survive the day. What happens when the mask slips or when we decide to take it off? Behind the mask lies truth, vulnerability, and the stories that rarely make it to the surface.

At our October StorySLAM, storytellers will step on stage to share true, personal tales inspired by the theme “Behind the Mask.” Funny, raw, moving, or surprising - every story is real, told live, and without notes.

How it works 🎤

No one is forced onstage. Just listening is totally okay. BUT if you do want to tell a story:

1. Prepare a 5-minute true story (no notes!) relating to the theme. All stories are in English. 
2. Drop your name in the hat (we call him Frank)  to tell it.
3. If yours is drawn, take the stage, and own it!

At the end of the night, the audience votes for their favorite storyteller. The winner takes home a cool prize and qualifies for our GrandSLAM, where the best storytellers of the year compete for the ultimate title!
